Coa Agaveria y Cocina

Coa Agaveria is Columbia’s only upscale Mexican restaurant and it’s certainly not to be missed. Located on Lady Street in the Vista, Coa brings a gourmet twist to classic Mexican dishes. Even their wedge salad with grilled artisan romaine, heirloom tomato, chorizo and cotija is impressive. The carne brava with grilled cactus is another menu item worth mentioning.

Coa also has a great vegan Mexican menu. Apart from excellent food, Coa also has exquisite drinks. We love their scratch-made margaritas and other agave-based drinks. 

The interior is cozy and the perfect spot for a date night in Columbia. They have a tapas-style menu so it’s also a fun place for a group if you want to try several different dishes.

Coa is located just below the Aloft Columbia Downtown hotel, but it’s independently owned.
