Original Pancake House

The Original Pancake House in Columbia has been around forever! And they have managed to keep up with the ever-changing Trenholm Plaza shopping area, always looking and feeling right at home even as the area continues to change.

Inside you’ll find an old diner-like feel, with tons of booths along the walls. They have quite a variety of pancake flavors, though we typically stick with their apple pancakes because they are so good! Their bitty dollar pancakes are also great!

Apart from pancakes, you’ll also find brioche French toast, crepes, omelets, Belgian waffles, pigs in a blanket, home fries and even a dutch baby (served with whipped cream, lemon and powdered sugar.)

Original Pancake House offers coffee, hot chocolate, milk, tea, freshly squeezed juices (orange and grapefruit), apple juice, and tomato juice. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, but it’s worth the wait!
