Black Rooster

Black Rooster is a casual yet elegant “French-ish” restaurant overlooking the river in West Columbia. They have one of the best rooftop bars in the Columbia area. Patio and rooftop seating is on a first-come basis, but you can make a reservation for the main dining space. They also reserve 20% of their capacity for walk-ins.

Their Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is really great, though it’s very spicy! Their Royale with Cheese is also a top contender for one of the best burgers in Columbia. It’s basically a cheeseburger meets a cup of french onion soup. Except there are pickles and Dijonnaise!
